Here are a few of the sketches I do every Thursday at work, based on random topics (most under an hour). Also some backgrounds from a side project.

California Plein Air

Took a week off to meet my old man down in California and join him on his painting trip. I painted these on location, using oil on panel. The easel was crafted by my dad and given to me as a birthday present.

Golem Arcana

Here is some work I have been doing for a project called Golem Arcana. A digitally enhanced miniatures board game. These are digital sculpts created in Zbrush to be 3D printed and made into miniatures. If you're interested, check out the Kickstarter and support the project. There are only a few days left.

Also a huge thanks to the character lead and designer Chris Rogers, who pushed me to this level of quality.

Portrait I painted for an art show celebrating the release of our game, Shadowrun Returns.

Creature Design

This guy is an enemy for a game idea I have. He is some sort of forest spirit that can manipulate puppets. I think I will be making the 3D version next.
